The PearLock Twistlock is a versatile carabiner suitable for sport and traditional climbing, belaying and rappelling. Its pear-shaped design provides ample room for handling ropes and belay devices, while the large rope-bearing surface promotes smooth rope movement and long-term durability.
The hot-forged aluminium construction combines strength and functionality with optimised weight. The automatic Twistlock mechanism operates by rotating the locking sleeve and opening the gate, allowing quick one-handed handling while helping prevent accidental opening.
The carabiner is suitable for dynamic belaying with a Munter hitch or a compatible belay device. It can also be used as a brake carabiner with an ATC Guide and for building climbing anchors when appropriate for the application and configuration.
The aluminium alloy contains 25% pre-consumer recycled aluminium, contributing to more efficient use of raw materials. The combination of a pear-shaped design, large rope-bearing surface and automatic locking makes this model a practical choice for a wide range of climbing applications.
